I am currently beginning to look for an engagement ring. When I discussed with my girlfriend some of her requests/ideas she suggested that she would like a princess cut diamond. I have a setting that I fell in love with on James Allen and it has 8 round diamonds, channel set. My question is, in your opinion, would a princess cut diamond look good in this setting? I have a felling that this setting is better suited for round cut.

I will definitely ask for some help in choosing a diamond but I have some time before that. I plan to pick the diamond out in April so closer to the month I will do some searching and provide you with one’s I think are good and hopefully you can give me your opinion and some other suggestions.

Well I’m ready to start looking for rings!
What I am looking for is a Princess Cut diamond and my budget is around $2400. I would like the best diamond I can find for that price, the higher the carat weight the better but I think a better cut diamond is more important. I’ve been looking at diamonds on the James Allen website and I have found a few diamonds that I think are a good buy.
