My wife’s diamond pear cut engagement ring was lost a few years ago and I am looking into replacing it. I am thinking of a platinum setting with 2 small pear shaped diamonds on each side of a main stone. I read your comments on color/clarity and I looked at the stones on James Allen which were among the color/clarity recommendations you had for pear cuts (F-H color, SI1/SI2/VS2 clarity), but was curious if you have a recommendation from their current inventory, for both a ~1ct pear diamond and the side stones (2 small pears at ~.6tcw).

I would recommend the first diamond for you. It’s beautiful. But the two smaller diamonds don’t match up. You should speak to JA; they will be able to match up sidestones to the center diamond.

I like that 1.14. The 1.08 is not eye-clean.
