Hi, here’s what I’m looking for:

Minimum criteria

Carat: >= .90

Cut: >= Excellent

Color >= J

Clarity: Eye Clean

Lab: GIA or AGS

Setting: Platinum Tiffany style setting

…..

Oh and it will be a solitaire.

Thank you! That’s funny. It’s the exact same James Allen diamond I landed on after doing my research. I know James Allen has the image of the stone but I’m wondering how this compares to this:

Am I paying an extra $565 simply to see it or is there another value driver that I’m missing between these stones?

I would stick with the JA diamond. BGD would need to have the diamond shipped in to photo it. Its not just ‘seeing’ the diamond. The vast majority of SI1s in that size are not eye-clean. There is a huge risk in going that route. I wouldn’t get a J SI1 that wasn’t eye-clean if it was a thousand dollars cheaper.
