Q: We know exactly what we want and are about to purchase from blue nile, but since reading your site–are confused and fearful.. where can we go to get same diamond ring for good cost..?
A: What did you go with from Blue Nile? We don’t think they are bad (they are a great company), but there are certain risks going with them. Let me know what you got, and we’ll work from there.
Q: just a note before school: thanks for the reply..i think we are going with James Allen–we love their professionalism and don’t mind paying extra for what they offer..we do have several questions though..will email later
A: Hope school was fine. Hit me with your questions.
Q: So sorry we forgot all about you guys since going with James allen:) they answered all of our questions and gave us impecable sevrice… we are paying somewhat more for our ring than we budgeted but are more than happy to do so with their service
thanks for your great website..we would not have discovered them without it
A: No worries, so long as you are comfortable and satisfied.
Q: I already sent you an email about some questions my and my fiance had about a diamond engagement ring we may be purchasing at BrianGavin, but then we we just recently discovered Diamond Mansion and could not believe our find..
could you possibly tell us if this diamond ring is too good to be true?
thanks so much!
A: That is too good to be true. THey are using an illegitimate certificate to claim the diamond is better quality than it actually is. Stay away.
Q: Wow- thanks..we have been looking at it all weekend wondering how they could sell it like that?..seemed unbelievable- wonderful.
Thanks for keeping us away from a bad deal. really
A: My pleasure. We have an article about EGL and Ira did a great video showing how bad of a deal it is.
Q: Thanks we read it..guess we aren’t as smart as we thought we were…soooo glad we ran into your site..very thankful..
one last question…. will there be a visible difference between a .94 ct oval diamond and a 1.oo ct oval
much thanks:)
A: No there won’t. Cut is paramount there. A well cut 0.94 is better than a 1.0ct that isn’t so well cut. Brian will make sure you are getting the best diamond overall.
Q: awesome thanks!.. we are so happy to have someone who knows what we are supposed to know.
Thanks:)..we are so pleased with our ring then:)
A: Did you already get it? Let me know how it looks when it arrives.
Q: at this point we are really hoping BG will come through for us..they really wanted us to consider a three stone round..because they were afraid that the oval would not be brilliant enough?. I really love the oval..as stupid as it may sound I get tired of the round symmetrical look of the hearts and arrows.
I really love that no two ovals look alike.and the fact that they are brilliant in so many different ways. and have seen stellar three stone ovals in jewelry stores.
I hope they can come through for us- and I hope I am not making a bad decision
A: Sounds good. Keep me posted.
Q: I contacted you about a month ago..I thought we had our ring at JamesAllen and then we decided on a different ring at Briangavin because we preferred their setting best… I really had my heart set on a three stone 1ct oval middle diamond with two round .50 sides..Our budget is 8,500.. We trust BG because they rejected an oval because of a bow tie issue..but we just wanted to make sure that we have the “one” I also read that u prefer long ovals.. I thought I would like a shorter squatier one better?..
we are confusing ourselves and wanted your opinion on what we are about to purchase this Tuesday..unless you see a red flag…
here is the great email my BGagent sent me about what we are about to purchase:

These are approximately 5.15×5.16×3.17
A: That looks like a fantastic diamond. I would trust Brian and his team. They are very focused on quality (whereas a place like JA is more of a facilitator letting you choose what you want).
