I really need your help on picking out an ideal cut round diamond. I would like to purchase from James Allen on a budget of $3500 or less on ring alone. Getting the most ring size and sparkle is what im after and I know thats your specialty! 🙂 How about .85c or less. Please help a lost first timer out. lol
Thank you
I’d be happy to make some recommendations and guide you through the process. What shape diamond and what type of setting are you considering? Yellow gold or white gold/platinum? Will it be a solitaire or does it have sidestones/pave? This may affect the colors that I recommend for the center diamond (as we explain in our post on color).
Let me know and I’d be happy to send you some suggestions.
I will be interested in a round stone with pave setting. Not sidestones but a diamond pave setting
I would recommend this one for you:

It’s bright, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
How can you be sure the si1 will be eye clean ?
I’ve had a lot of experience picking out diamonds from photos. There are certain things you have to look out for (hazy, unfocused shots of grey inclusions for example).
I appreciate your expertise.
…….
Unfortunately the last diamond you recommended was snatched up by someone else. Do you mind making another recommendation so i can put on hold immediately?
Thanks so much
I would go with this diamond:
