Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I am looking to buy a ring to my soon to be fiancé. I have a tight budget, around $2,000. Is there anything decent I can get in this range. I know I am looking for a solitaire princess cut diamond with a white gold ring.
I am trying to propose to her before August. Any suggestions will highly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
Is this budget just for the diamond or does it need to include the setting as well?
Thank you for the reply. The budget is for both the diamond and setting.
Thank you I really like the traditional style ring. I been looking for a white gold ring. What is the difference between white gold and platinum? I know white gold is cheaper than platinum. Do you recommend spending the most possible in the diamond and settle for white gold, or you recommend going for platinum ring?
We just graduated from college and right we are trying to get ourself establish workwise. We have talked about maybe down the road upgrading the diamond size once we are financially solid. What is your experience with other clients? I have look at a few diamonds from James Allen (links below). What do you think of these diamonds? Again, thank you for taking time to respond to my email. I greatly appreciate it.

Those are really nice as well! I would just suggest you steer clear of the 0.71ct stone since it’s certified by IGI. It’s probably equivalent to a GIA J color which is too low for a princess. Out of the other 3, I like this one the best:
