Hello, your website is so great. I learned a lot from you.
What do you think of this diamond?
Why do you think the price is low? Is it because of the 60% table? What counts as an ideal cut on these websites? I thought it was 52.4% to 57.5% table. Do you think that feather will be visible?
Otherwise, my budget would be up to $7k for an approximately 1 carat diamond. I would appreciate any recommendations from you.
Thanks so much for your website and your help!
That diamond is a poor choice. The cut is off (even though its a GIA excellent cut) as the table is too big. Also, the inclusion is terrible. I would go with this one:
Thanks so much for your advice. Why did the diamond still receive an excellent rating if the table is off?
Also the one you suggested has a depth of 62.1%, which is also out of the ideal range, right?
Do you have any other suggested diamonds with varying price range? Thanks again! You guys have an amazing website.
62.1 is totally fine for a depth. While GIA gives them excellent cuts, you should stick under 60%.
