I just ordered the setting in the link below and I’m looking for a nice diamond from James Allen to put in it. My budget is $5000-5400 for the diamond. I’m looking for a round excellent cut in the .90-1 carat range that is eye clean.

no, not at all. YOu’d be giving up something that’s visible (extra size) for something that’s not distinguishable to your eye. An eye clean SI2 looks the same as a flawless diamond.

I just received the diamond and it looks incredible! The GIA plot diagram is kinda busy, should I worry about this having a negative effect on the sparkle/brilliance/fire of the diamond?
