I am looking for a round engagement ring diamond and I have $20k budget. I would appreciate it if you could send me some recommendations for diamonds that you believe are an excellent value in this price range. My only request is that the diamond’s flaws be unnoticeable to the untrained eye. Thanks for the help and I look forward to your recommendations.

I am still debating between several solitary settings for round diamond. Do you need additional information before evaluating a diamond? I also am looking for a diamond that is large but doesn’t look over the top on a size 7 finger. Thanks for the help.

So I would suggest one of two options for you:
1) Go with a super-ideal Hearts & Arrows cut diamond. These are cut to the strictest parameters possible to absolutely maximize light performance. These lose the most weight during cutting, so they’re more expensive, but you won’t find a diamond more brilliant than these. They’re equivalent to the “Hearts on Fire” brand, just cost a lot less. For this kind of stone, nobody is better than Brian Gavin (See our review here). I like this stone of theirs for you:
2) Going for more of a regular stone, but maximizing size. Here’s what I like for that strategy:
