I could use your expertise! My boyfriend told me to pick out a ring and it’s harder than I thought! The total budget is about $1200-$1500 and I really like this halo setting in yellow gold (not sure why it says white):

The diamond looks like there is some scratches on it, maybe? I’m not sure if that’s the photo or what.
Do you think the diamond is a good choice, or is there something better I’m missing? I am OK with having round or oval shapes.

The diamond seems to be a very nice deal. It seems there is a glitch on JA’s site. Instead of the certificate image, there is another photo of the diamond. I have contacted someone from JA to clarify the matter. Let’s see what the certificate has to say.
