Hello, could you please find me a sparkly diamond? Would like 1ct…ish…. I loved reading your articles, but its making my head explode a bit. Ill want a solitaire w white gold band. Thanks much!
I’d be happy to help you out. I would recommend the following diamonds for you:

I really like that first one. It’s bright, eye-clean and will look great in a solitaire setting. What do you think?
Hi michael, thanks for the lightning fast response…. I told my husband I wanted the first one. I’ll let you know what happens. Thanks again
Sounds great. Please keep me posted.
Hi, so my husband was going to buy the 1st one today, but now its not available. Can u please pick another and he will buy today? I told him I was worried this would happen. Id love if u could get back 2 me today so i could have for christmas.
I’m sorry for the delay in responding. I was away on vacation. While I was planning on answering follow up emails, I came down with the flu (bad timing). Do you still want some help?
Aww..I hope you are feeling better and enjoyed the holidays. I did get impatient and we ended up buying at shaneco. Here is what I got (out the door for $6150 with a white gold solitaire setting) (they do do free resizing, free center stone replacement, free rhodium, etc and they also have a 100% upgrade policy which is kinda nice): 1.04ct,j color, si2, excellent cut, measurements 6.52 6.54 4.03 mm. Polish very good symmetry excellent. No flourescence. The barcode on the gia cert is 210604772500. Ill try to put the %s clockwise starting on the left. Thin-med faceted 3%, 50%, 15.5%, 35%, 43%,61.7%, at the very bottom it says none, 80%.
After I wrote this I ended up taking picture of cert 4 u.
My un educated opinion is that I picked a good stone, however almost certainly overpaid vs jamesallen etc.
They have60 day return policy.
I was thinking if u could find me a better value, I would def try to convince my hubby to go 4 it.
I was kind of thinking of this when I got it..that I could have something shiny on my finger, and then when u responded maybe switch things up 🙂
Looks like you did well on your own, but you are right; the price is too high. Check this diamond out:

It’s bright, eye-clean and a slightly better quality than what you bought. With a white gold solitaire, it’s still 20% cheaper.
Hello, so we returned the other ring 2day.
My hubby doesn’t want the new charge to be on his credit card until the credit shows up which means it would be 3-5 biz days until I could purchase.
He didn’t really care about saving $, so I wanted to go more
For bigger, while not going over 6150 for the whole thing. The setting I want is 340, so it would be 5810 for the diamond.
So, I was hoping maybe to get close to a 1.25ct instead of 1. I definitely wouldn’t want something less sparkly just to be bigger, as I dont really see the point of it so basically id just want as big as possible for the price without sacrificing the beauty of the diamond.
I do have on hold with them until tues one that’s 1.26ct for 5770 but I was hoping you could pick out maybe 2 for me so I can compare – plus then if one gets sold b4 the credit posts, I have a few options.
I really appreciate al the help you’ve given me so far, and I can’t wait to write my reviews everywhere, once I get my ring 🙂
What is the item number for the one you have on hold? No point in me recommending something if you made the right choice on your own.
1547904. I explained he situation to them and they said they’d hold it until 5pm eastern 2morrow (tues)
I’d love to help. JA recently rolled out a new site and their old item numbers don’t work. I can’t see the diamond.
I’m sorry.
That diamond is a real winner.
So I looked and the diamond is no longer available.
The good news is that it is now in a ring on my finger!
Sounds great. I’m glad you are happy with it.
Ivouch invite?
Well, if you insist 🙂
