I would like your opinion on this diamond and if you think I can find a better option for the money?
I can put up to 1.5 ct in the setting I like. It is $8120

Table: 69.0%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle:
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.91*5.80*4.25
Ratio: 1.02
I have a sneaking suspicion that this diamond does not have a GIA certificate. Does it?
This does have a GIA certificate and it is from James Allen.
What made you come to that conclusion? Is it a pretty good deal?
I’m sorry. I’ve been answering tons of emails and I went a bit dyslexic for a minute. I thought the weight of that diamond was 1.52 (which I misread after your ‘up to 1.50’ line), so the price seemed iffy.
Can you send me the link or diamond number? The specs are fine, I would just like to make sure it’s eye-clean.

I am a little concerned that the inclusions are in the top middle of the diamond but it was certified as a VS2.
What do you think?
I would like to stay around that size of a diamond but I probably could co to a 1.22 or so..
Thank you so much for your time.
I would actually go with this diamond over that one:

Just because a diamond is VS2, does not mean it’s eye-clean. This one is.
The site seems to be down right now. I will check it when it is back up.
Thank you so much for the help.
Hmm, its up for me.
It is up now. Thanks!
……
How do you know it is eye clean? Can you tell by looking at the photograph?
Also, this one has VG as opposed to EX Polish. Is that a big deal?
Also, The Depth to Table ratio is pretty wide. Shouldn’t it be around 1-3% or is that not that big of a deal?
How about this one. I requested a picture to be sent. It is a little more but not that much.

I really appreciate all of the help. This is my first diamond purchase.
1) There is no difference between EX and VG polish. Don’t worry about that.
2) The spread of the depth/table is not a big deal, but its true that the other diamond has a more preferable depth%. However,
3) The first diamond you referenced is not eye-clean. The inclusions are a harsher black, while the inclusions on the F are a soft grey.
The improvement in eye-cleanliness far out-weighs the difference in depth %.
I can’t comment on the third diamond until the photo is up.
They just released the photo of this one.

I think this may be the one, with your approval, of course.
What do you think? They are telling me it is eye clean.
It is eye-clean and a great diamond. Snap it up.
Thanks, Mike!
