Q&A: “That was the perfect diamond in my price range!”

I am trying to find a 1 carat princess cut diamond. I am concerned about getting the best value for my money and as long as it is eye clear do not care if there are microscopic flaws. I have seen that you have give many people great advice and suggestions on your website. When I look at things online I am not an expert so I feel that I might pay for things I like color or clarity that are not really worth it. I could use the advice of someone who can find a great diamond value. Please let me know if you have any questions for me. Thanks.

Thanks very much. To answer your questions. I am considering white gold/Platinum with sidestones. There is a possibility that she will want a halo setting and that will obviously change things quite a bit. But I feel she would probably like the sidestone better. Thanks so much for responding. I went with the first one. That was the perfect diamond in my price range! All of the qualities I was looking for an I didn’t pay for anything I don’t need. The diamond arrived today. It looks fantastic! Better than fantastic. It’s prefect, I know she is going to love it, it has a very nice sparkle to it and absolutely no flaws that I can see with my naked eye. When I placed the order I had an issue that I need to call customer service for, guess my purchase was flagged as potential fraud. Anyway, when they asked how I heard about James Allen I told them all about you and gave you a glowing review, so I hope that helps you. I really can’t thank you enough. My office mate at work today was showing me her ring, but boy when I got home and saw the one I bought it had so much more sparkle to it and she said her husband paid something like $7000-$8000. So again I can’t thank you enough for finding me an outstanding diamond at a very reasonable price! Now I just have have to find the right setting.
