Hi I’m considering buying this diamond Blue Nile LD09832647.
Please tell me if this is the best option. I need to use Blue Nile as I’m upgrading from my old diamond. I need to spend at least $8,600 Canadian.
My old diamond is ideal cut .85 but does not sparkle very much appears dull.
The diamond you found is beautiful, you did a great job finding it!
I’ll gladly send you some more suggestions if you like – could you please tell me what setting style and metal you prefer? Different colors suit different settings better.
I found this diamond and put a hold on it as well. It appears to have the right dimensions and is cheaper and bigger than the one I listed before.
Regarding the stone you found (Blue Nile LD11996588), it’s a superbly cut diamond that would be very bright and brilliant. Nice find!
I also found these:
Blue Nile LD12889439
Blue Nile LD00012317 – This one is a bit borderline of eye-cleanliness, I would suggest speaking with a BN rep to ensure the diamond is eye-clean.
I looked into the 1.4 and they said it will take 2 business days to inspect and verify if it’s eye clean or not.
So you think this one will be bright and sparkly based on the image and dimensions? A super ideal cut? As well as the 1.24 I chose as well?
If this 1.4 is eye clean which is the better deal? I think 1.4 is quite a bit noticeably larger than 1.24 yes? And also you think the I colour won’t look at all yellow next to the pave diamonds and white gold setting?
Yes, both would be brilliant and fiery as the cut is perfect in both cases. You can actually ask BN rep to be sure since you are already in touch with them. To the majority of people, I color looks colorless in solitaire/pave/side stones setting. If the 1.40ct stone is eye-clean, then it would be a great option since it’s almost the same price and noticeably bigger (see the actual measurements).
Blue Nile did confirm the 1.4 diamond is eye clean so I’m thinking I will likely go for this one as I think a bigger stone is more important than a better clarity if in the end it looks the same in the ring and just looking at it if the cuts are the same.
I did take a look at this one you recommended as well:
Blue Nile LD12890284
Cuz I would think this ring being roughly the same size but better clarity and a bit cheaper would be the better value over the 1.4 but only if the cut is super ideal. I value cut the most.
Both diamonds are brilliant and fiery. Both have perfect cut and excellent angles. There isn’t a big diference between them in terms of cut. The 1.37ct stone is just a little bit smaller in measurements. If the depth is under 62.6%, it’s great.
I have ordered the 1.4ct.
Thank you so much!
